Video: Product Managers & The Secret of The Color Wheel

by drjim on July 30, 2011

Dr. Jim Anderson shows how product managers and product marketers can use a color wheel to correctly choose colors for use in their next PowerPoint presentation.

Dr. Anderson covers primary colors, secondary colors and then shows how to use the Microsoft Paint program to identify what colors are being used in a corporate or organization’s logo in order to select the correct colors to use in a presentation for that group.

Dear Dr Jim.
I certainly appreciate this presentation and I will surely use to improvise on my slides.
Thank you 🙂

Hi Jim,
I thought that the overall content was good. I think it would be even better if you used it as component of an overall “how to build an effective powerpoint presentation”.

Some minor technical points – your volume seemed to drop when the video switched from showing you to the monitor. Also the screen quality was a bit low. Don’t know if there is any way to improve that.

Great tips, Jim. Thanks.

As Mike says – the audio level dropping was distracting (kinda like clashing colours) but for a first video, great job!

Oh – the screen resolution looked fine in 1080 mode. 😉

Tony: Thanks for the feedback! Hmm, don’t know what’s going on with the audio, but I’ll look into it…
