Dr. Anderson,

I would like to know how a young product manager can get his peers working with him when they are much older than he is and have many more years of experience. How do you manage someone much older and more experienced than you are? Both directly and indirectly. Thanks

William: we all have skills that others don’t have. If you are younger then your peers, then let them know that you’d like to learn as much as you can from them. Everyone likes to be a teacher. As you learn, you’ll have chances to show them what you know and what your special skills are. It won’t happen overnight, but keep at it and you’ll be able to earn their respect…
